I have been having an issue for about 2 years with Audiofinder interfering with my AVID Artist Control.
I can use my AVID Artist Control all day and not have any problems. Once I start Audiofinder, it will take 5 minutes to 10 minutes for the Artist Control to become unresponsive...'crash'
The Artist Control needs to be re-powered and the software for it rebooted to bring it back online.
It seems that the Artist Control is more stable if Audio finder is already working when the Artist Mix is brought online.
I would say it is still quite unstable though.
The Artist Control connects to my mac via ethernet and is set on a static IP address (apparently more stable this way)
I have been having this issue across.
2 different mac OS computers, various OS instalments, various Audiofinder versions and various Eucontrol versions.
I keep hoping a new version of each will magically fix the issue, but doesn't.
Can you help with this issue?
What version of Mac OS X are you using?10.11.6
What version of AudioFinder are you using? Which mode 64 bit or 32 bit? Look in AudioFinder’s About Box to find out. 5.9.14
What audio hardware were you playing back through? Built-in or which third party? AVID HD Omni
Were you using an Audio Unit plug-in at the time? If so which one?no
What format file were you attempting to play? Does the same file crash again each time?na
